We stayed one night at Margarita's Plaza Motel in December 07. We were attracted by the lovely interior courtyard, the pretty rooms, and the much lower room rate compared to other nearby motels. We paid $55 for two people which included dinner and breakfast. We are savvy travelers and asked all the usual questions before paying for the room --... more

Well I've joined Trip Advisor just so's I can review this hotel...if you stay here, EAT OUT - don't believe the reviews that state the food is nice - it was absolutely shocking! The evening meal consisted of an ok carrot soup but inedible meat stew of tiny proportions (probably because you can't stomach much more) and the world's worst... more

Great family owned homely atmosphere. We came by motorcycle and the staff let us park our bikes in the courtyard. Found the info on there blog: [--] which was pretty kool so we thought we check it out. The food was very delicious and the dinning room was above standard with a beautiful mural. Everyone was very friendly and helpful... more

This is a great hotel - rate includes breakfast and dinner. But beware - I was a "walk in" and quoted MX$380 for one night. However, the next day I met another traveller who was paying MX$300 for a double room! I returned to the hotel and asked to stay there and again I was quoted MX$380 and when I... more

Just returned from a Copper Canyon visit. Read all the reviews of this hotel and despite the horrible review one person gave it, decided to try it anyway. We found the hotel delightful, the meals good and the tour we took interesting. The rooms were very clean and tidy...nothing to complain about. We thought the person who wrote that terrible... more

We stayed at this hotel for three nights in January 2006. The rooms are quite large, set around a central courtyard. Our room was clean and comfortable. The price includes breakfast and dinner. The food was fine, but there are better places to eat in Creel with more choice. Even eating out a couple of times, overall this was good... more

Our big group of 22 people were tired and sleepy. We arrived at margarita's very late in the evening. They called in a cook to cook for us. The rooms were clean, big enough, and had beautiful murals. We loved the location. Margarita's will not give you the regular customer service that many Americans are used to, don't expect it.... more

The hotel is very friendly. The rooms are clean if a little small (though you don’t go to Creel to stay in your room). The place is pleasantly rustic – certainly not a Best Western, but then it has much more character. Rooms are based around a central courtyard which has tables and chairs and is a good place to... more

We've been there 3 time, going on a 4th mission trip in April 2005. The rooms are clean. The food is plentiful and very good. The price is right, especially considering you get b'fast and dinner included. It's the only place we consider staying. more

Stayed 2 nights Sept 9/10. My husband and I have visited over 30 countries and this was the worst place we've ever stayed! Room was dirty, mold in shower. Meals are included but food was so bad, we ate all of our meals out. Booked a tour with 5 other people, that was suppose to be 4 hours/ box lunch... more
