This was the last hotel I stayed out while I was in Japan and it was the best. The hotel is located in a stylish neighborhood. The lobby of the hotel featured stylish furniture, a lounge and a bar with a dj booth. The service was top notch throughout my whole stay. The modern rooms had expose bathrooms that were... more

I flew out to Tokyo at the beginning of november, i stayed at the Hotel Claska and i have to say it was great. From the moment i arrived it was a great experience, having found them on this site i booked directly through there own site. I ended up going for a 7 night weekely room rental and i... more

On your way there you will suspect that you are in a young and innovative yet not outwardly flashy artsy area. Step in the lobby, and any doubts are eliminated. Very tasteful mostly 60s style yet fresh looking furnishings are abound in the common areas and the rooms. Each of the nine rooms in this hotel located in the Meguru... more

We stayed at the Hotel Claska for 2 nights in June 2007. My interest was to stay in a small, boutique hotel, after staying in both a large, modern skyscraper hotel (Park Hotel) and a chain hotel (Hyatt Regency). The Claska is inconveniently located from the nearest train station but one can easily take a taxi to the station for... more

Stayed in the weekly residence room for 8 days, for about 8600yen (US $80?). Had a really relaxed time. My room was the smallest in the hotel & i felt it wasn't cramped at all. Bed was the most comfortable bed I've slept in for weeks (better than mine at home). Had DVDs and Cds for loan for free at... more

I've stayed at the Claska Hotel on my last two trips to Japan and I love the place! The rooms are modern, the staff helpful and friendly and the guests generally hip. If you're interested in design or fashion or music or are interested in Japanese people who might be interested in the same, this is definitely a place worth... more

Stylish and spacious. For $160/night we were very happy with 35 square meters of subdued, modern design. We made full use of their free electric assist bikes and DVD rental and spent three nights in two different rooms. The staff were helpful and friendly - allowing us to use the front desk computers for internet access. The rooms are nicely... more

This place is in a poor location (15 minutes walk to metro). The hallways smell. The rooms, for 500$ us per night, had all sorts of scuff marks, etc. No view. Rooms are only cleaned once a day during a three hour window. The location is a problem. Also, I think as a "hip" hotel it attracts a lot of... more
