Booked 4 nights, tried to get out before the first night. Overall very dirty, poorly maintained. Very very expensive, so many other places to stay. Fortunately for the wonderful park the only time we were at the cabins was to sleep (10pm-7am) eyes closed! Stay away, it's relies on the cruise ship or bus trade!! more

Denali cabins is a perfectly fine place to stay a night. Think of it as a place to spend the night. In any case, your day will be spent probably in Denali and your time in the cabins will be limited. The river / creek in the pictures may be dry later in the summer, but was a welcome view... more

We stayed in Denali Cabins for one night prior to our trip to Kantishna inside of Denali National Park. Denali Cabins are cute little individual cabins in a beautiful setting. I particularly loved the hanging baskets of blooming flowers everywhere. The cabin had comfortable double beds, clean and neat furnishings, and an amply sized bathroom with more than adequate hot... more

I think a lot of people are confused when writing/reading these reviews because a lot of the hotel/cabins names are similar. This property is DENALI CABINS, NOT Denali RIVER cabins. This property is about 8 miles from the Park Entrance, not seven. There is NO river here!! With that said, we found DENALI CABINS to be a very nice place... more

I stayed here with three friends back in June and I loved the place. The cabins were very nice, clean, and well maintained. The breakfast, although continental, was surprisingly awesome, with make your own waffles, really good oatmeal, fresh fruit, coffee, juice, bagels, and muffins. And the wait staff did a great job maintaining and replenishing so there was always... more

We reserved 2 cabins for 2 nights and had been nervous about the negative comments. The cabins are small and furnishings are of the Wall-Mart variety at best and you do hear people walking by on the wooden walkways but you have to think of where you are. Our focus was on the Nat. Park and the Back Country Tour... more

I thought this place was OK except for one experience a bit bad that spoils my recollection of my stay. More of that in a minute. I found the staff efficient if brisk, and the cabins are OK and the setting pleasant if you forget what you're actually paying! Breakfast is good and the backcountry day tour to their sister... more

This place was not bad for the price, compared to other places in the Denali area. It was fairly quiet, the beds were pretty comfortable, the shower worked and the toilet flushed. The check-in staff, seasonal young'uns primarily from Eastern Europe, were pretty indifferent to us. We arrived 30 minutes before the 3PM check-in time and were told that our... more

I'm surprised to see all the negative reviews of Denali Cabins. I'm not sure what people expect in a wilderness area. The cabins are rustic, but they have everything you need and full maid service. The woodsy setting is beatiful. There is no restaurant at Denali anymore; they merely serve breakfast, which was pretty good. I found the staff very... more

We just returned from a trip to Denali. The Denali Cabins are a bit rustic. They are constructed with cedar, which, in theory sounds great. I found that the smell was a bit overwhelming. The rooms contain two full sized beds, it worked well for 2 people, but it would be a little snug for 4 people. The bathroom had... more
