We stayed here two nights during the land portion of a Cruise West trip. This lodge is quite impressive. It is huge, the largest in Alaska. The complex is so large, you think of it as a village. The view is spectacular. It sits on a small bluff overlooking a river and the mountains. We were lucky and were able... more

I'd booked a room for two nights. The clerk could not find the reservation. After a long wait a manager found a room. Paid for the room, but was not given a receipt. (Bad idea). After the first nights stay, went into DNP and came out of the park late- around ten. Tired. Wanted a shower and sleep. Found that... more

We were dreading the Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge after reading the reviews on this site. But, let me reassure those who hesitate to book this Lodge, it is a very nice place. First of all, we did not pay $300.00 a night that many did pay during the high season. We stayed the first week in September and paid about... more

We booked through our travel agent here in Australia back in January 08, we requested building 10 or 11, and was advised by our agent that to ensure we get either of these buildings the resort have advised we would have to pay upfront for the 2 nights at that time of booking. So we did to ensure we get... more

This place is overpriced, but so is all of Alaska! Overall, the shops, restaurants, walking paths, and main lodge area make it worth the price. The food was good and the rooms were very clean. They offer shuttle services around the resort area. This place is big! The main lodge area is warm and comfortable and the resort has a... more

Our's was a two night stay part of the princess cruise/land tour, so this was selected for us. Even though it was Sept. the room was so hot, had to open a window, no A/C in room. Coffee pot is only a one cup cycle maker, and they only leave one cup serving per guest! Heaven forbid you ask for... more

My husband and I stayed at the Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge one night on the land tour portion of our honeymoon and could not be happier. My only complaint is that we were not there long enough. The room was clean, comfortable and faced the Nanana River. The lodge is also only a mile from Denali National Park, the highlight... more

We stayed at the Denali Princess Lodge as part of a cruise/land package with Princess Tours. The cruise was terrific and everything that you would expect from Princess. The land facilities are just the opposite. Princess bills the Denali Princess Lodge as "premium riverside accommodations...an ideal spot to relax, visit with friends and savor the exquisite landscape". What a joke.... more

Stayed at this property 5 years ago and was very pleased. We booked a suite on Island Princess and stayed at Denali Princess for 2 nights of our land package. They have a new section called Canyon Station which is about 1/4 mile up a hill from the main facilities. Very sparse services at Canyon Station forcing guests to wait... more

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at this hotel. The property, each of the restaurants, and my hotel room were extremely clean and in well condition. The grounds were beautiful. Service was very good. Every employee I came in contact with greeted me with a smile and went out of their way to make my stay very warm and welcoming. The food in... more
