My girlfriend and I were hesitant to stay at the Bright Angel Cabins because of the reviews that we found on this site and others. To be fair, it seemed as though every place to stay at the Grand Canyon had some awful reviews, so it felt like we were picking the best of the worst. Staff - They were... more

We stayed just one night in a cabin at the South Rim - just a few yards from the start of the Bright Angel trail. We couldn't get a cabin with a direct view of the Canyon (despite booking neatly a year in advance). The cabins are a little on the small side but reasonably well equipped with new(ish) bathrooms.... more

Our first trip to the GC. Flew into Vegas and spent the night there and drove to a ranch that was the closest to the west rim. We didn’t do the sky walk (everyone told us it wasn’t worth it, but to walk around that area which we did. We spent the next day on the west rim and then... more

The best part of our stay was opening the casement windows to a million dollar view of the Grand Canyon. We stayed in rim side cabin #6151. In addition to the view, the cabin was charming. It has exposed logs that are painted white, a cathedral ceiling and a gas fireplace. The room is furnished with a comfortable queen size... more

We were fortunate to be able to stay in one of the rim cabins. We could see the canyon right out of our window. Then a few steps and we were right there on the rim. The cabin had many amenities that I wasn't expecting. Such as a hair dryer, frig, etc. The bathroom was great with tub and shower and... more

Good old USA, the land of great service with a smile, which is true so long as you don't stay in a hotel in a national park. Bright Angel Lodge looks great from the outside, a low-rise log cabin-style lodge fitting in well with its surroundings on the rim of the Grand Canyon in the actual Grand Canyon village resort,... more

The Bright Angel Lodges are a great place to stay. We visited the Grand Canyon in July 08 for 2 nights. I work in travel and did a lot of research, the best rates are by booking directly with them on grandcanyonlodges.com, operated by Xanterra. They are sweet little wooden lodges right in the heart of the Grand Canton National... more

We originally booked a lodge room with private bathroom but requested to be moved after about 20 minutes because of the noise. Fortunately there was a historic cabin available for only $20 more which was a great improvement. The original room was actually really nice and I guess it depends on your neighbours but we were right by the front... more

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in one of the Historic cabins. We thought it had so much charm and character. I'd opt for a cabin stay over the hotel experience of other establishments any time. Could park literally right at our door, and only a short walk (40 yards) from the rim. Great choice if you can get one. more

This room was perfect for what we wanted. Clean, neat, quaint, and close to the rim. The in room coffee pot and refrigerator were wonderful to have. The room was definitely small, but we spent our time outdoors, not in the room. And the bathroom was newly renovated and SPOTLESS! We would definitely stay here again. Once you park your... more
