we stayed at the occidental july 2-9th. the only thing nice about the hotel was the doorman. we paid $11,500 for five people (including air from nyc ) for seven nights. you were only allowed to make reservations for four nights at the restaurants. the other three nights you had to go the morning of to make a reservation for... more

We litterally spent weeks reviewing our options for our stay in Aruba and decided to try an all inclusive because we liked the idea of not having to leave our resort and we would have many options for food and drinks and just be able to relax. We got married June 14th at the Occidental Grand Aruba and stayed there a week before the wedding for a family vacation....it was simply AMAZING! THe wedding itself was everything I have always dreamt of and SO MUCH MORE! This is my 4th time to Aruba and I love it there MORE and MORE everytime...Bonny Stanley was a GREAT wedding... more

We stayed in the Occidental from 23rd June to 7th July, and had our wedding on the 1st July, organised by Bonny Stanley who was brilliant. For the wedding photographs we used Tania de Cunha who was fantastic. Hello, My husband and I stayed at the Occidental on our honeymoon in June. This hotel is in the perfect and in a great location. Coming from the hotel industry, the hotel was fantastic. We just returned from spending 10 days (July 2-July 11) at the Occidental and had a wonderful time. The staff went out of their way to provide the best service our room was beautiful. My family and I just returned from a 6 day/5 night stay at the Occidental Hotel in Aruba. While it was not the Atlantis in the Bahamas, it was clean and comfortable. Well we read mixed reviews prior to our stay and iv read some more moxed on our return home. People hat have written bad reviews need there head read. We piad just over £3000 for our our honeymoon here and it was worth every single penny spent and hour worked earning it. The staff are ab fab!! Friendly smiley nothing... more
