I wanted to take my Mum away to somewhere relaxing, friendly and quite small, and knowing Barbardos, and having stopped for a drink at Sandpiper in the past, I thought it would fit the bill. It did. My daughter also joined us! Emma and myself shared a one bedroom suite (No 5) which was lovely with kitchen, bathroom and shower... more

I have just returned from a super stay at the Sandpiper. It was my first stay there but I would love to return very soon. As per all the other reviews this hotel is almost perfect. The main asset this hotel has is it staff, they are all, without exception fantastic. Any gripes I have are really minor: Our room... more

Just returned from 9 nights at The Sandpiper and it was fantastic ! From the moment you arrive, you know its not an ordinary hotel, it feels really special. The owners are really very nice people and they were around all the time and the staff were SUPERB. we booked a 1bed apartment - (room 41) it was lovely, spotlessly... more

We stayed at the Sandpiper the week of April 22 and thoroughly enjoyed our vacation. The hotel is very intimate with only 45 rooms. The service, rooms, restaurant and the people are all friendly and make for an enjoyable experience. The beach is small and has a lot of coral rocks; but is adequate for the size of the resort.... more

We have recently returned from The Sandpiper. We stayed in a one bed suite #19. The suite was as detailed in the previous posters review so I will not add any more details. The food was very good, the cocktails wonderful and the grounds and rooms kept very clean. The only annoyances I had was that we were unlucky to... more

We just returned from a two night stay at the Sandpiper. We had just disembarked from a 7 night cruise on the SeaDream Yacht Club and had never been to Barbados before. To get our land legs back before going home we booked a short stay to experience the island. We arrived before 11 am and was pleasantly surprised to... more

A fantastic week hiding away from post christmas blues and the uk winter. Stayed in a well appointed garden room in this small, personal family run beach hotel just on the edge of Holetown. A warm welcome at reception is followed by some of the best food on the island (we tried the cliff and lone star, only to be... more

Went to the Sandpiper for a week, following a recommendation from a work colleague. Wasn't too sure what to expect as this was our first time to Barbados but the general feedback from this site was very good. Pleased to say it lived up to its expectations. We were met by a couple of wonderful and helpful receptionists and the... more

This is a superb little hotel in a good location near to Holetown. The service was by far the best that we have experienced in the Caribbean. The staff always seemed to be one step ahead of you. They learn your habits and anticipate your needs. It really helps you to relax. They are friendly and respectful. Little touches, like... more

Have just come back from a weeks holiday at the Sandpiper and had the most amazing time. The hotel is a perfect size as it is small enough that the staff remember your name and engage you in conversation but not too small that you feel closed in. We could not fault anything about the hotel we loved every minute... more
