La casa de Ana is the best place in Havana! Extremely friendly, open and hospitable. Authentic Cuban experience without compromising on anything. Ana and Peppe are the increadibly connected, so whatever you would like to do in Cuba, they'll show you the best possible way and organise it for you. Peppe tour is an absolute must. Thank you for the... more

My friend and I, both from Tanzania, stayed at Ana and Pepe's from 29 March to 10 April 2008. It was the best decision we could have made. They made us feel completely at home and part of the family, and they were endless sources of advice. Even if you don't get the chance to stay with them when you... more

Ana and Pepe have opened their casa, network and heart for us when we visited Cuba in April 2008. Ana and Pepe gave us a wonderful feeling that made us feel like we were part of their family. It is just incredible how dedicated and caring they have been in helping us explore and enjoy Cuba. They traveled the world... more

We were late to book and thus we could not stay at Ana. She recommended a house near by: Marilu's. Everything was very good. Ana and her husband were very helpful in any respect.I can strogly recommend this casa particulares. more

Clarification: We didn't actually stay here, because she was booked. HOWEVER... Ana and Pepe, if you haven't figured it out already, are some of the best hosts on the planet. Once I had determined that I wanted to stay in a casa particular (and if you are interested in local flavor, you MUST do this), I contacted Ana. Of course,... more

Ana and Jose (otherwise known as Pepe) are the perfect hosts. The rooms are large and tidy. The casa is in a safe location about an hours stroll along la rampa and then the malecon into habana veija, or a five minute cab ride. The breakfasts at 3.50cuc and 5.50cuc a pop are a little pricey but delicious. Pepe's tour... more

I know it has been said many times before but it deserves to be said again. Ana and Pepe are just wonderful hosts. They are genuinely kind and helpful. And of course I have to mention the ever smiling Yuri who prepares your food and the charming ‘Barca’ fan Tony who generally helps around the place. There is a lovely... more

Myself and my Fiance stayed with Ana and Pepe in December and January. The rooms are basic but more than what you require and in Cuban standards its great! Each room has an en-suite one room bigger than the other. The beds are comfortable however are two singles made into a double, which is rather difficult for a young couple... more

My girlfriend and I have just returned from Cuba, and we spent time in Ana and Pepe's casa at the start and end of our trip. The room itself is excellent, but what really stood out was how friendly and helpful Ana and Pepe were. They organised brilliant accommodation for us in Santa Clara, Trinidad, Vinales and Playas Del Este,... more

Based on the advice I read on this site, I contacted Ana and I am delighted to say that our stay far exceeded my expectations. Treated like friends, Ana and Pepe gave me and my sister practical advice and travel recommendations before and during our stay. Ana also reserved accomodation for us with Casa Basita in Vinales and Casa Diana... more
