We arrived at night with no place to stay because the hotel we had booked had been closed for two years! The taxi brought us to Hibiscus Inn and they took us in and fed us. We stayed at Hisbiscus for 6 nights as part of their adventure package. Our first impressions upon arrival were slightly disapointing. The lodges were a little on the rustic side, THERE'S NO HOT WATER, and, after drinking 3 bottles of Kubuli beer, we'd drunk the place dry! My girlfriend and I stayed at Hibiscus Valley for 9 nights at start of April 07. Upon arrival the 'hut' appeared rather rustic, but soon became a fantastic home for the duration of our stay! The price is good and the location is very pleasant, albeit beside the main road. The cottages are very basic and crudely built (exposed nail points, broken tiles etc), but the verandah with hammock is great for lazing. We loved our stay at Hibiscus. Our trip was last minute, with all the vagaries of standby travel & Daniel was very flexible.
