“Terrible hotel”

Been there twice and I do not recommend a stay. No hot water for two days. Slow service in all areas. Hotel is old. Carpet is dirty. Overheard other guests complain of dirty bedsheets. I found a cockaroach in the room, and saw a mouse in the garden next to the pool. Dance club music reverberates through entire hotel. I... more

This is a great hotel in Bonao, a small town on the road between Santo Domingo and Santiago in the Dominican Republic. Bonao is home to Falconbridge, a multinational nickel mining company, and a huge Hanesbrands plant. The hotel is definitely a pleasant surprise... a top of the line big city boutique hotel in the heart of a small town.... more
