Despite a 20 hour delay and a night lost because of Sunwing airlines, arriving at the Majestic Colonial more than made up for it. The pictures don't do the place justice, because it is more spectacular than it looks. Although the resort is so huge, it never once felt crowded, even at the busiest time of year. Majestic Colonial is the worst hotel I've ever been in. We were 7 couples and at least 7 of got sick from the food. My sister was so bad we called the doctor on premisis and it took 3 hrs for the doctor to arrive, and this was only because she threatened to call national television and let them know... more

Stayed here in March. I could go on forever and bore you entirely but here are a few brief guidelines. Service: Don't expect any unless you are able to hand out huge tips - and even then it's not guaranteed. Food: Expect the worst and you will receive it. Salads are rehashed over and over. I will try to make this review as short as possible, however I do want to get every amazing detail about our trip included in this review. We stayed at the Majestic Colonial from April 25th till May 9th. We had a great time aspecially with the Animation Team, Walter,Jesus,Maria,Francisco and others. It was our first vacation but we come back for sure. more

I only have great things to say about the Majestic Colonial in Punta Cana! I stayed there for the second time between May 03 and May 10 2008. Just like the first time, everything was awesome! Beach: The Majestic is located on a pointe, the beach is larger there than in nearby resorts, the sand is white and very fine.... more

The resort was very nice. We had a problem with our room on check in and within 15 minutes we were moved to a much better room. The staff, service were great!! The place was clean and very well run. Now the food. I am a chef by trade and did not think we were going to get exceptional food.... more
