I went to this hotel twice. The first time i was told that if i would return then all the problems i experienced during my first visit would be corrected but they were not. I'm afraid I have to agree with the first poster. The hotel is beautiful, but the people who run it/own it are very dubious. First, we were quoted one price, then noticed our credit cards were charged another price. As stated, the resort is small, but nice, but the road to the resort is an absolute hazard. Though this new hotel in Samana has charming accomodations, its location makes it difficult to find. Once out of the mainroad you enter a dirt road in marshlands!
