The people who owns and runs this hotel should not be allowed to work in service. They have no idea how to deal with people, they treat their employees badly and treat their clients like they were doing us a favor to allow us to stay at their overpriced hotel. We stayed at the El Rancho Hotel in Petionville, Haiti, which is about seven miles outside of the capital, Port-au-Prince. Our stay was adequate at best. The Hotel El Rancho was my oasis while visiting/working in Port-au-Prince. I found the room to be very spacious and clean. Restaurant has good food but service is very slow. Friendly wait staff. Rooms are not clean, hotel loses power often, some days there is no water, the screens on the windows are missing, the air conditioner leaks when it works, and the hotel has been under construction for months with little or no progress. Both my Husband and I agree that we were extremely satisfied with the service we received from El Ranch hotel. The staff were wonderful. The food was breath taking. The wedding occur on December, I will recommand El Ranch to any one who wanted to get marry in Haiti. more
