tradewinds= great location, lousy service. Nearly all the expatriate inhabitants to vieques are rude. I say nearly all because some were enjoying there existence in a beautiful tiny island in the caribbean. Vieques is a perfect example of key west before becoming commercialized. Went with 4people in July. This hotel is small but very clean and cozy, right across from the esperanza beach, walk to restaurants on the strip. Salsa and merengue music on Saturday nights down the strip. The people were very friendly and helpful.
