We stayed for two nights, which was at least one night too short, in part due to the fun which we had in and around Esparanza and also in part due to the most relaxing experience at Acacia. Not to mention the owners are super friendly, very helpful, and a lot of fun. Fruit trees abound on the property and... more

Two of my girlfriends and I spent 4 nights at Acacia Guesthouse in May. We stayed in the penthouse suite which was just fantastic - a generous living room/kitchen with a large bedroom opening with French doors onto a private terrace. The accommodations were neat and clean, and the kitchen was fully stocked with the necessities (blender, coffee maker, all... more

My husband and I were looking for a relaxing island experience without the heavy tourist feel of a resort and we found a PERFECT haven in Acacia guest house on Vieques. We rented the penthouse (definitely worth the few extra dollars) and enjoyed the private rooftop patio every morning for breakfast and every evening for a sundowner. We could easily... more

A wonderful, clean, well located "home away from home", topped by the kind and genial service provided by hosts Hose and Douglas. A truly great find, faultless - we shall surely return. more

A friend and I stayed here for week over the Christmas holiday. It was maybe the cleanest place I have ever stayed in! The rooms are lovely, very reasonably priced and are stocked adequately for you to do some of your own basic cooking if you'd like to. Jose was helpful and charming. It would be probably best to have... more

Acacia Guesthouse is run extremely well by the gracious owners, Jose and Douglas. The rooms are large, tastefully appointed, clean and very reasonably priced. The guesthouse has a lovely roofdeck from which you can see the Caribbean to the south and hills to the north. Our room--really two rooms--had a kitchen/living room area, and a separate bedroom. The kitchen was... more

My wife, 9-month old baby and I have just returned from staying at the Acacia Guest house. We really enjoyed it, Jose was fabulous. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. We especially appreciated the cleanliness as our daughter has just started crawling and it was great to be able to let her roam around without having to... more

Acacia guesthouse was excellent. The owners were very friendly and helpful, even spent the time to give an overview of the island, places to eat and the beaches. The rooms were a nice size and had simple accomodations. more

My husband and I just spent a week in the efficiency (second floor) of acacia guesthouse. It is a meticulously kept 3 story building with lots of decks including a roof top deck with spectacular sunrise & sunset views. The price, 75/night, is amazing. Douglas, one of the owners, was great. He gave us a great orientation to the island... more

My wife and I stayed in the studio apartment at Acacia in March 2006, and we found it to be a jewel of a place for us. The room is simple, with no TV or A/C, but the room is airy, with windows on three sides, and it has a celing fan. We actually prefer this simplicity, especially in a... more
