First of all, if you book through Hotels.com, you do not receive a complimentary breakfast. We were told that the breakfast was complimentary, so the next morning, after we ate breakfast, we were told we have to pay. And the breakfast was like a bad Dennys meal. The "sausage" was actually hotdogs, the "bacon" was undercooked. The room, was err..just... more

We have stayed in this hotel three times in the last 2 years. Each stay was for a few nights whilst island hopping. It is true that it is small, but the beauty of it was that enabled a more personal service. It's cheap so don't expect Dior in the basic bathrooms, if you want that check into a 5... more

My classmates and I went to this hotel in 2004 for a historical class trip. It was the best two days I ever had. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious and, the cable and the air condition units in the rooms were great. The food was also superb and I liked the way they served it-buffet style. There were also... more

I stayed with my girlfriend a few months ago and it turned out to be more than we baragined for. It was a delightful experience with great customer service. The staff made us feel at home. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a perfect stay. It was located on a peaceful hillside with a fantastic view... more

We (3 couples) stayed one night (June 19, 2004) at the Glencastle and will never forget it. It was so bad that it was laughable! First, it is not a resort it is a very small hotel off-the-beaten path FAR away from the water. You have to pull your luggage up three flights of stairs in order to get them... more

My boyfriend and I found the Glencastle to be extremely clean, comfortable and more than reasonable in terms of cost. It is a little distant from much of the activity, but the walk to Rodney Bay Marina takes little less than twenty minutes and it isn't very expensive to take a cab. The hotel's free shuttle service was very useful;... more

My best friend and I (females) stayed here from 14/03/04 to 23/03/04. Upon arrival we were shown into a Superior Ocean View room, we had actually booked at Standard Garden View, the room was huge, a large balcony overlooking Rodney Bay Marina and the Caribbean sea, what more could one ask. The staff were great, always smiling, we ate in... more

My wife and I spent a week at Glencastle in early February 2004. The hotel (I would certainly not describe it as a resort - it is a small hotel, with limited facilities) staff were all very friendly and helpful, particularly the guy running the shuttle to and from the beach/marina. There is a nice view of Rodney Bay -... more

Upon our arrival at the hotel we were greeted with complimentary cocktails. The breakfast buffet was great and the staff were very courteous. I would recommend this place to any couple or family looking for some relaxation. more

The hotel management rent out their restaurant to public parties. There was noise and partying all night. The restaurant was unusable on those nights. A salad took 90 minutes to be delivered to the room. This should not be called a resort. The staff are nice and helpful. But their hands are tied. Moreover, the resort is filled up with locals... more
