First off we did not stay in Marlin Quay when we were in SL in July, but I said on the SL forum that I would do a report on this hotel. The hotel officially closed in June, when their last paying guest departed! Unbelievable but true! I first stayed at the MQ in 2002 when it was in a... more

We arrived at Marlin Quay as part of our timeshare exchange with Interval International. In our 6 years of exchanges throughout the Caribbean, Marlin Quay is unquestionably the biggest disappoinment of all the exchanges. We are not fussy, hard to please people. But the room we were given pushed our low expectations to new depths. We had a 2 bedroom... more

When we arrived at the Marlin Quay we were very disapointed. We were shown to our room which was booked a deluxe room as it was our honeymoon we were shown to this grotty looking villa type room with a forest growing in front of it! I was really looking forward to my stay at Marlin Quay, but was left disappointed and irritated by the poor service. I booked a 12 day stay for March 2005 at Marlin Quay last November and paid a deposit to secure the booking. This was after a series of emails with the General Manager who did offer me a good... more

The Marlin Quay was what we were looking for in many ways and fell a little short in some ways. The room had tile floors, a kitchen, french doors and a small pato looking out at Rodney Bay. Lots of fish jumping all day long, not to much boat traffic. The room was clean, the water hot. The bed and... more

Wife & I spent 2 weeks here in July 04. First time visitors to the Carribean and therefore went with open minds. I do not think that you could have a better location on St Lucia. We were room only (prompting most other people we met to look at us as though we's lost our minds), and this was by... more
