Please see below the letter I wrote to the hotel manager the day before we left. I think it says it all. 01st October 2008 Whom It May Concern: Introduction: I would like to take this opportunity to highlight some issues that my wife and I, along with our 8 month old baby, encountered at our stay at the Jalousie... more

We have just returned from 10 days at the JP, and had a really great, relaxing time despite the rain storms that hit us, we were aware of the rainy season however we expected short showers, NOT over 4 days of solid rain, unfortunately we cannot control this. During these storms we just sat in our ocean view villa, which... more

If you are looking to be completely secluded from everything and everyone then you might enjoy the place. Scenic and beautiful? Absolutely. Unfortunately for us we are not able to completely disconnect from reality for 8 days...even if it is our honeymoon. My husband has a demanding job and needed to be online this week and calling a shuttle, waiting... more

St. Lucia is a lush, tropical Mountainous Volcanic Island. The Island is only 27 miles long, but because of all the hair pin turns. It takes several hours to get from one end to the other. We chose St Lucia as we had been there for one day on a cruise and fell in love with the beauty and the... more

Been back from this amazing resort two weeks ago and just want to turn around and go right back!! This resort is nothing but amazing! I would reccomend the AI package,as the food and the drink could be quite expensive. The food was really, really good but I think it could become really repetitive if you went for a fortnight.... more

We stayed at the Jalousie from the 6th July for 2 weeks. Our party consisted of 2 adults and 3 teenagers. The journey from the airport was not as long as some reviews suggest and we found it interesting to get a look at some more of the island. The views on arrival at the plantation were incredible! we were... more

Virgin flight from Gatwick was grim. Plane tatty, food dire. 80 mins queue at immigration was a bore after 8hrs on the plane.I'd go BA next time, even with a stopover. Transfer by taxi was fine. 50 mins, smooth road, no motion sickness. Good views. I imagine the chopper would be fun, although be aware your luggage follows in a... more

The Jalousie Plantation is set in a fabulous location nestling between the amazingly beautiful pitons of St Lucia. Everyday you are arrested by something special - amazing flora, fauna, sunsets, stars. Sadly the hotel is not as amazing - it was once but is now well over the hill. When visiting here you feel like you are visiting your grandmother's... more

We stayed at the Jalousie Plantation from August 5-12th. First of all I want to say that although it is rainy season when we went...it was absolutly amazing. It rained daily for 5-10 mins flat. The hotel and grounds are breathtaking... It is important to note that we are a young couple in our 30's and have travelled a tremendous... more
