We picked the Ole Works Inn based on two things.....(1) location and (2) reviews from Trip Advisor. Our experience, the location was perfect....Cane Garden Bay is beautiful and it is a short taxi ride to Road Town for ferry connections. However, this is where the charm ended. The staff was not exceptionally happy to see us, no help with the... more

I just returned to NJ from a 7 day stay at the Ole Works Inn. I had a fabulous time!! It was during the 3 day Music Festival and all I had to do was walk across to the beach. It is located in the best location on the Island and the views are spectacular. The rooms are a little... more

A group of 6 of us stayed three days at the Ole Works Inn. Staff was great. Rooms were clean. The whole place is a little run down but this did not dampen our stay at all. Had a small problem with getting room keys to work. We felt like we had the place to ourselves for most of it.... more

This is a great independant little hotel. The two nights that I stayed there it was quiet and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful!! I would go back with out a second thought. As with most places in the islands, the rooms could use a makeover and or some improvements. However, the islands don't have Home Depots around... more

After staying at the Ole Works Inn in 06 and having a lovely experience, we couldn't wait to return. The reservationist did tell us that Quito's the restaurant would be closed during the days we were there due to the festival. All of the flights arriving into San Juan were late causing all the connections to be late and we... more

Stayed here for one night after a chartered yacht cruise. The woman at the front desk is a miracle worker of multi-tasking. She checked in all 11 of us guests from the cruise and answered zillions of questions, plus took taxi reservations all at the same time, all with a gentle smile and extreme patience. Didn't get her name, but... more

This establishment has seen better days. The walls are really thin, carpets worn...it could use some love. The location is great if you are into the bar scene. The beach is crowded with people from cruise ships. It turned out to be a convenient place that we could stay and then drive to better beaches (Brewers Bay and Smugglers Cove)... more

First off - the inn is run by very pleasant and friendly people. That said, we didn't enjoy our stay as much as we hoped we would. Due to scheduling, we knew we had to switch rooms mid-stay so I'm reporting on two rooms. The first, in the separate building was a beach view. Very spacious but dingy looking, it... more

I really enjoyed my stay at the Ole Works Inn on Nov 2-6. I stayed in the one of the beachview rooms and what a view I had! I woke up each morning and looked out of my balcony at the blue waters and boats floating in Cane Garden Bay with a green, mountainous backdrop - just beautiful. My room... more

After referring to this website to try to help me make my decision to stay here, I was really not thrilled after reading what people had to say, but decided to stay anyway having heard some very good things about the place from another source. What is the problem with the people who wrote reviews here? The inn was very... more
