On an almost uninhabited island, Cooper Island Beach Club has just 11 charming cottages nestled on a white-sand beach, dotted with palm trees. The snorkeling off the beach right in front of the rooms is fantastic. The popular beachfront restaurant, under the same management for 27 years, serves a variety of international and Caribbean dishes with friendly, attentive service. more » « less

It was even better than we expected - as we arrived at the jetty in the transfer boat and saw Robbie & Patrick walking towards us with rum punches on a silver tray, we realised this was going to be something special. The sea, the beach and the island looked gorgeous in the hot sun. The walk up the jolly... more

We loved Cooper Island. It was more than we exptected. Our room was fantastic. I was apprehensive about the lack of electricity, but turns out, we never really needed it. We slept well and the showers were great, ran off of solar and propane when they needed it. The kitchenette and bathroom was just fine. We plugged our cell phone,... more

My daughter and I enjoyed a relaxing week at the CIBC. Tina, Robbie and Derek were very nice hosts. Our room (#7) was very clean, comfortable and accomodating with the basic necessities including pots and pans to do some light cooking. The patio-deck provided an excellent location for morning breakfast. The approximately 750 foot beach is nice. Plenty of activity... more

Looking for a quiet place with down time? This is the place. We spent one week on Cooper Island and it was everything we expected and more. We sailed twice in the BVI's doing a 7 day and 10 day sail, so we thought it was time to try in from land. Spent the first night in Road Town at... more

My husband and I, along with our tween daughter and one of her classmates, spent Spring Break on Cooper Island. We went there last year, too, and looked forward to our return throughout the winter. Cooper Island isn't fancy but it's a special place where children can explore safely both onshore and off and where there is no expectation for... more

There are very few places my husband and I opt to revisit. While there are many places we love, we always seem to try new places for new experiences. Cooper Island Beach Club is the only Caribbean resort we've visited more than once and truly consider it "our place." We come stressed and after a week of swimming, snorkeling, enjoying... more

If your idea of the perfect vacation is a quiet remote tropical island, then Cooper Island is for you! No cars, no nightclubs, just the relaxing beauty surrounding you. If you are a person who must be on the go, this place is not for you! What is there to do? Read, sun, surf, sand, nap, boat rental, snorkle, scuba... more

My husband and I just booked 11 days at Cooper Island for February '07 -- our third trip in 3 years. Even though the island is small, between snorkeling, swimming, kayaking, and reading on the beach, we enjoyed each and every day. It is truly the place to decompress and get away from it all. You can snorkle right off... more

We stayed at a private residence associated with and maintained by Cooper Island Beach Club. It takes some effort to get there- via Tortola, then the boat to Cooper, but once you arrive it is worth it! It was the best vacation we have had in a long time and we are very experianced Caribbean travelers. The Beach Club staff... more

We stayed on Cooper Island Thanksgiving week 2005. We have always searched for a Gilligan's Island type place, and I think we found it. No roads, no cars, no traffic, no telephones, no tv, just you and the island. Yet, it still had a sense of civilization with the great restaurant and pay phones if needed. Water sports equipment on... more
