Just spent a week at Compass Point in a one bedroom condo diving with on site operation Ocean Frontiers. We have been to the Cayman Islands over a dozen times and have 5 previous visits to Grand Cayman. Have logged over 500 dives each. We had not been to Grand Cayman since Hurricane Ivan. We had never stayed, and dived... more

Before booking our dive trip to Grand Cayman, we did a bit of research trying to find the best place to spend our money--good view, great diving for newbies, good value, etc. Our search turned up several of the dive places on Cayman: Divetech, Sunset House, and Ocean Frontiers. We knew we didn't want the craziness of 7 Mile Beach,... more

My buddy and I spent 4 days at Compass Point in early March. The main purpose for the stay was diving and so we were not expecting luxurious accommodations. We were pleasantly surprised by the spacious, well appointed, modern equipped suite. High end stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, flat screen TV, washer and dryer, super comfortable beds, spacious living... more

Compass Pointe is ideal for independent travelers because all units contain full kitchens. The island has a number of full-service grocery stores (I recommend Hurley's), allowing you to save quite a bit on food. Packages at this resort generally include car rental, which is key for reaching the resort and for touring the island. We drove the entire length of... more

Our family stayed here for several nights at the end of December and it was half empty . This is a wonderful facility for groups of divers, however ,if you don't dive there is very little to do at this unspoiled end of the island. Although we were not informed of it you definitely need a car because the public... more

In short - we had a marvelous time. A few years ago we went on a cruise and said it was the best vacation we had ever taken. Not so anymore: our trip to Compass Point and scuba diving with Ocean Frontiers now stands at the top of the list of our BEST vacations ever. Our research brought us to... more

I stayed from 29 Nov to 06 Dec 2007 in a 1 BR condo on the 3rd floor. The view was beautiful & relaxing from the large balcony. The condo was nicely decorated & had tile floors, internet access & a nice kitchen & TV's in the LR & BR. There is also a stacked W/D so you can do... more

I don't have a ton of experience staying at dive resorts (or diving, for that matter), but I can't imagine it gets much better than Compass Point/Ocean Frontiers. We stayed in a one bedroom condo. It was roomy enough for two (four could stay, but that would be too crowded for my taste), had the basic necessities of a self-catering... more

Spoiled! I am so spoiled now. We arrived...they whisked our gear to their area to go on the boat in the morning. When we loaded onto the boat, our gear was setup on the tanks, etc. Diving in GC is PHOENOMINAL... we took our BCs off and they put them on our second tanks. After the dive, we took our... more

Everyone at Ocean Frontiers Diving was professional and friendly. They took care of everything and were genuinely concerned about our satisfaction and safety. The condo was perfect in everyway, fully equipped and all systems worked. The only issue was the "housekeeper" who literally only wiped the kitchen counter and made the beds...nothing else! She didn't even load the diswasher or... more
