Stayed becayse had early morning flight next day. The friendly staff can't make up for the horrible experience I had. Room old and dingy, bathroom stank! Woke up at night, cockroaches crawling on floor of shower cabinet. couldn't sleep for rest of night and have three painful bites in my neck which I think must be from bugs not mosquitoes... more

I stayed at the Belair Airpor Hotel in March with my son for one night in order to take an early morning flight to Tobago the next morning. First, they charged my credit card one month prior to arriving- they said this is how they do it; then when we arrived, it was sooo old and depressing, I was sooo... more

This hotel is a big dump. I took the shuttle from the airport, which was a van in terrible condition. The door could only be opened from the outside. I was taken to a room, where the AC was not working properly. I complained and they said that the AC was just repaired and needed a bit of time to... more

The Bel Air Hotel is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was disgusting, and was adjacent to a house with barking dogs not to mention the proximity to the airport. When the planes fly over the rooms literally shook. The room was dingy with frayed electrical cords which almost shocked me when I had... more

This place is the stuff of nightmares!!! Imagine being a weary business traveler when you are greeted and brought to this unbelievably sorry place. It is in a complex "gated" area that is 100 yards from an active runway!! What is this an old Air force Base?? Upon entering the reception area you are blessed with a smell that hits... more

After reading the awful reviews on Trip Advisor, I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at this hotel. I was considering canceling my reservation after reading others' comments and am so glad I didn't. Granted it's not a five star hotel, but it was convenient and comfortable for one night. I arrived in Trinidad around 11:30pm and was flying out... more

I had to stay there since I arrived late nnight in Trinidad, and had an early flight next day. Rooms are filthy, noisy, and staff is very rude. Price is not cheap. I paid more than $ 100,00 and I expected a better hotel. Stay out of this hotel, and only use it as a Last Resort more

I have this review posted in the forums, but I want to make sure that everyone to Trip Advisor sees it. I am a very disgruntled traveler, who had the unfortunate experience, as many others before me has experienced, of staying at the Bel Air hotel. I read the reviews, this is why I am so mad at myself. My... more

Persons should stay away from this hotel. I am honestly telling you this is a rip off. I paid $ 134.00 for one night and the conditions was terrible. I did not sleep properly. I was embarassed after I booked with Expedia to stay here with my family. WARNING - STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL more
