Absolutely wonderful place! Great service, friendly staff. Only regret, the pool was under repairs :( I plan on going back there next time I vacation in Tobago! It was ideal for a getaway! Close to a beach (less than a minute's drive), a restaurant next door, the rooms were very comfortable and welcoming (and clean). I am definitely a returning... more

I first visited grange inn tobago in 1996. I was primarily interested in surfing and grange inn is located near the best waves! I became friends with the strassle family the owner operators. I have since return 8 times and, each time got a room and a car at the grange inn. The food was great, the service good, the... more

I have stayed at the grange inn several times and must say is a place to relax, the ambience is quiet, rooms are clean, the pool is always clean surrounded by a nice garden and the price is really affordable, so instead of watch tv, specially if it does not work, i go to the pool, the beaches, the water... more

I am absolutely surprised that people wrote those things about this hotel. I love the hotel and especialy the price, it was like a give away(it was l very little u.s. dollars). There are several beaches along the line and i loved the exsercise of the little walk. The golf course across the street was also very pleasant. And Oh... more

My second (2) stay here was a pleasant surprise. Nice homely atmosphere, relaxing and comfortable. The surroundings are ok -- need some work though. Generally a good hotel. Easy access to transport and other sights more

My stay at Old Grange Inn was okay. First of all I must thank them for the clean room that my fiance and I had. The air-condition was working very good, the atmosphere peaceful and quiet , which was what we wanted. We are from Trinidad and he atmosphere in Trinidad is noisy, fast, loud, and a bit dirty. But... more

My husband and I stayed here just before New Year 2005. Unlike the other two reviews I read we had no problems and the Inn while aging, was clean and the room we had was large with a false wall between the living area and bedroom. The bathroom could do with relining but was adequate, especially for the reasonable price... more

Management is in this business only for himself and not for the benefit of travellers. Decided to stay at Old Grange with a family of three. Promised exceptional service only to find out it was a dungeon. Given a room practically under the earth near the kitchen. Television never worked and had to go outside and look at television in... more

Have stayed there a couple of times. Have ALWAYS had a problem with the phones in my room not working. After hours there is nobody in the office to contact if having a problem.(Standard I hear for GUEST HOUSES in Tobago). A notice in the room gives a room number and phone number of someone to call. That did not... more

Management response from
Jakob Straessle, manager

I find it very harsh that this person finds it necessary to close down this establishment ,especially that the reason was that the phones ,rather phone in the room , was not working properly ,I rather say maybe they have a problem with following simple instructions as a telephone is an essential tool in the hotel business and must be...
