My husband and I stayed at Bohio in Februrary and it was far from the experience we had hoped for. First let me say that we travel to different carribean islands every year primarily staying in small, non-corporate type of hotels and dive resorts. We are very used to the 'island' style of things and do NOT require luxury. I... more

I've read all of the posts on here and can understand where this may not be the place for everyone. Having said that, I absolutely love the Bohio and will continue to return each year. The staff is as friendly as they come. Kristen, Reuben, Kelly, and Gerhardt are the best and will bend over backwards to make your stay... more

We have just Bohio is located in Zone C of Grand Turk (for your fyi), so if you are coming from the airport, it should only cost you $7 per passenger. Its entrance is very simple...but in one of the traveler's photo, it made it look very deserted (no pond in photo). So, you may not find all the travelers... more

We don't know what all the fuss is about...the people are very nice, but the place needs TLC...we've stayed at diving resorts, so we've come to know what to expect, but the room cleanliness, and OK room left a lot to be desired. Cleanliness in our room didn't seem to be a priority. I'd suggest they tear down the hotel... more

In early May of 2006, we stopped in Grand Turk for a few hours on a cruise ship. During shore excursions, I try to do things away from the large crowds. I'd read about Bohio and we decided to go. It was very laid back and pretty much deserted. We were not able to swim, the water was not calm.... more

My diving buddy and I stayed at Bohio in early July and had an fabulous trip. The resort is located on the best beach on the island and we loved the fact we could just get up and fall into the ocean every morning. The rooms were clean and basic, we had no complaints with cleanliness anywhere on the resort... more

This place was excellent. A welcome change from the hussle, Bohio is a remote resort paradise that welcomes all kinda of people with great accommodations. Kayaking, excellent reef diving, snoba, kite and wind surfing, extreme surfing on the northeast reef (experienced surfers only!) Horseback riding on the beach, swim with giant stingrays (and feed them!) Tuna, Mahi, Shark, and other... more

We really wanted to like this place. I understood that there would be challenges related to how remote the island was, slow service, shortages, but I was not prepared for 2 days with no running water and anywhere between 4-30 local kids taking over the resort and running wild. I am good with Island Time and the fact that the... more

Two full weeks have passed since our stay at this little taste of paradise in Grand Turk at the Bohio Dive Resort, and I finally have the impetus to write about and support the wonderful people at Bohio. Finally!!! Knowing nothing about Grand Turk or the Turks and Cacaos islands for that matter, I just couldn't pass up a $0.01... more

I stayed at the Bohio resort the first week of June with a few of my friends. We are all kite surfers and went down to check out the island and see how the wind blew. We had excellent wind the first couple days and got to kite surf flat water and an amazing reef on the north end of... more
