We spent a week in April at Bohio on Grand Turk and loved it. We dived everyday with the resort, the dive staff were friendly, helpful and very patient! (we are beginners) We made two dives each morning and you come back to the resort for the surfact interval. You're back in time for lunch which we liked, it felt very... more

My girlfriend and I just returned from a week at Bohio on Grand Turk. We were looking for excellent diving and a laid back place to stay and we found it at Bohio. The Grand Turk wall is just minutes from the shore and the underwater life the best I have seen in the Caribbean. The divemasters were fun (Craig)... more

In deference to other reviewers who have already posted here, there are some negatives to staying at this resort. Your reaction to the Bohio will depend on your expectations and maintenance and/or service issues that you may or may not encounter during your stay. Grand Turk is isolated and depends on boats to bring in supplies, so supply shortages are... more

I agree with nearly everything the previous poster wrote in his December 2006 review, but have a few additional comments. It is hard to call this a hotel. The maid service basically makes the bed up, and that is it. The floors are not swept (we had to brush off our feet before getting into bed there was so much... more

My wife and I spent 6 nights at the Bohio during the first week in December. The resort is located about a mile and a half from town on a very nice beach. It is about a 20 to 25 minute walk into town either on the beach, on a road near the beach, or a combination of the two.... more

Kelly and Nick at the Bohio are awesome! the resort is great, extremely relaxing and laid back and we had a wonderful time. In addition, the restaurant at the Bohio was amazing! the best lobster i have ever had! Definitely going back as soon as possible! more

My husband and I just spent 4 nights at Bohio with our 2 teenagers. It was one of our best yearly trips ever. The resort has the prettiest stretch of beach of the island, perfect for swimming, and is within walking distance from tiny Cockburn town (about 30mn of leisury walk through the quiet street or the beach); we also... more

what a beautiful setting! The hotel rooms look straight out over the beach and turquoise blue water which is only 50 yards away. The hotel is sprawling and feels really spacious. You can dine in the restaurant which is a more formal setting or in the laid-back pool bar which is outside and right on the beach. The food was... more

Just back from 3rd trip to Bohio. Nothing is ever too much trouble here and the diving and peaceful setting is magical. First day with another dive op (no hassle they picked us up off our beach) until the Bohio boat "Serendipity" was back in service then out with Sunny and the team for the best diving around the area.... more

I've been to Bohio twice, and both experiences were fabulous. For a previous reviewer to say the diving was marginal and unsafe without justification is unfair. Bohio does not claim to be a 5 star accommodation with swim-up bars around every corner and concierge service 24-7. It is exactly what they advertise on their website - Small, intimate with simple... more
