Beautiful hotel, but do NOT stay in the "lake view" rooms. Our room itself was fantastic, but our view looked like it was onto a sewer! The service is amazing and the architecture is stunning. However, you could be anywhere in the world; it doesn't seem like you are in the Caribean. more

Amanyara exudes peacefulness and serenity, a sense of privacy and sanctuary, given it's location on the distant point of the island, amidst ecological preserves, it's symmetry, and spaciousness of design. This was by far my best Caribbean hotel experience ever--I cannot say enough about the high level of service. Aethetically, the resort is beautiful, each room is very private, with every amenity (free minibar, snacks, fruit, champagne on arrival, free telephone). The Amanyara is stunning in every aspect, the architecture, the service, the deserted beach, the infinity pool overlooking the ocean, unbelievable!
