This expensive but beautiful resort has some serious problems that other visitors and even the staff agree with. We stayed there for two weeks so was able to get a good feel for it. The good side: the architecture, lighting and space is gorgeous. The rooms or "pavilions" aren't huge but they are laid out nicely, usually with complete privacy... more

After getting married and staying at a beautiful villa on the island of Provo by the name of Bajacu for a week we opted to stay at Amanyara for our last week on Provo. Never having stayed at an Aman resort before but hearing rave reviews from our friends we figured we were in for a treat. Since Amanyara was... more

Just back from 5 days at Amanyara. We've wanted to stay at an Aman for several years now and were thrilled that they opened one so close to home as we only had 5 days... The island is beautiful. Picture-perfect turquoise water and powdery white sand. The Aman is secluded, in a national park, and the location is unbelievably perfect (as... more

Just back from a great 10 night stay at amanyara. There is no doubt that this is a beautiful hotel that deserves its five star status. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful whether they were caribbean or filipino, although the GM wasn't as visible as i would have thought. However, there are some minor points that i thought... more

Want a fair comparison between Amanyara and Parrot Cay? Here you go... just returning from Amanyara after a 9-night stay. Been traveling quite a bit including two very recent visits with Parrot Cay which would be the only other truly high end resort in Turks & Caicos so I thought you might appreciate a perspective. Amanyara is a stunningly stylish... more

Beautiful hotel, but do NOT stay in the "lake view" rooms. Our room itself was fantastic, but our view looked like it was onto a sewer! The service is amazing and the architecture is stunning. However, you could be anywhere in the world; it doesn't seem like you are in the Caribean. more

Amanyara exudes peacefulness and serenity, a sense of privacy and sanctuary, given it's location on the distant point of the island, amidst ecological preserves, it's symmetry, and spaciousness of design. The architecture is of course superb, and much of the visible staff is imported from Asia. The resort's vibe is far removed from typical upscale Caribbean - this feels more... more

This was by far my best Caribbean hotel experience ever--I cannot say enough about the high level of service. Aethetically, the resort is beautiful, each room is very private, with every amenity (free minibar, snacks, fruit, champagne on arrival, free telephone). Both the pool and beach are beautiful (and the staff is constantly bringing cold water, towels, evian spritzers, sorbet)... more

The Amanyara is stunning in every aspect, the architecture, the service, the deserted beach, the infinity pool overlooking the ocean, unbelievable! This is a level of service and sophistication not often found in the Caribbean, or in the US for that matter! You won't want to leave the property, except to go on the wonderful complimentary snorkeling trips! We absolutely... more
