Great hotel..... absolutely worth staying at!! But some drawbacks. PROS: - Lovely garden, bar and restaurant just outside the door. - Bright room and big barthroom - Location close to the ocean - Snorkling is possible nearby. - Free deck-chairs and ice from the bar CONS: - A bit grumpy and slowly staff (not very service-minded) - Located some distance... more

This hotel is great for one night before or after your trip to the Virgin Islands. It is near the airport, so if you fly in late - stay here; if you have an early flight out - stay here. It is relatively clean and inexpensive for being right on a beach and within walking distance to the airport. As... more

The hotel is located at the end of the airport so you get some airport noise. But this all stops by 5:00 PM. The rooms are fairly clean and are average for rooms around the island. The garden inside the hotel adds a nice atmosphere to the place. The view and the location makes the place great. I would happily... more

I would have given this review a 3 star rating, possible 4, if not for a few things. We booked a few months in advance by telephone and maintained contact via e-mail. AAA discount. Our reservation was for 7 nights, Wed-Wed. The property was nice. Colorful tropical landscaping. We were on the second floor, room 212. Fridge in room. Bathroom... more

I got bumped off my flight, so after spending 3 hours in the terminal (they won't let you leave till the plane departs), I called this hotel from my cell, and had a room for $99. Somebody before me said this hotel (it's more of a motel) is about 2 miles from the airport. That is incorrect, it is more... more

The beach is absolutely awesome. The rest of the hotel is not so great. The price was the best I could find on the island for an overnight before flying back to the mainland. We had spent a week on St Thomas followed by a week on St Croix. It is convienent to the airport, but you also get to... more

We arrived in St. Thomas the end of May, 2007 and totally lucked up on this hotel. It is approximately two miles from the airport. It is located on Emerald Beach. What a delight! The room on the beach is like a small apartment. The view is incredible. The beach is awesome and the front desk people were oh so... more

My wife and I stayed at the Island Beachcomber for a night, prior to starting a week long bareboat sailbaot charter. The place is close to the airport, with a nice beach, bar and restaurant. The room was nice and the AC worked! The check-in folks were nice and helpful. It sure isn't inexpensive, but I guess it is reasonable,... more

We stayed at this hotel in Feb 2006 and Nov 1997 before and after cruises. It is a funky little hotel right on a beautiful beach. If you want to walk out your hotel room and across a short bit of sand to swim, it is wonderful. The beach is in a cove and so the water is calm and... more
