We had the pleasure of staying in a condo on Windermere Island in January of 2007. The condo needed some work (our room and bathroom hadn't been touched in 20 years) but the beach was right outside the front window..... Miles and miles of nothing but sand and surf. It was amazing. Placing this review a bit late for Windermere island however better late then never. If anyone reading this review ever gets the pleasure of going to Windermere Island take my advice and go. My wife and I travelled to Windermere in October of 2003 and are looking forward to going back. The island which is situated off of the island... more
