We stayed at this hotel every time we visited Ensenada over the last 7 years (twice every year). The hotel was a Days Inn. Since the change over, the place has gone down fast. Bottom line, this is a poorly managed low end motel 6 in the center of the tourist area. Expect no service from the management and signs... more

While this place is by no means an outstanding hotel, it definitely got the job done for me and my buddy. The location is awesome -- on a main avenue with great bars, shops, restaurants, and the harbor within a few blocks. I had no problem parking on the lot, and as soon as you park there really is no... more

Before I book any hotels, I tend to look at the comments other people put on here and from what I read. I never end up seeing anything they say. roches...not one single one! Lots of noise because of the club thats across the street, I slept through the night. Of course, the beds were a little hard, but people... more

I was a little worried about staying here after reading some reviews. But, thankfully, I wasn't cheated and the staff was very helpful. It is right in the heart of the tourist zone. The room was clean enough. Like a well-maintained Motel 6. I would stay there again. more

We had a nice one-night stay right on the tourist's main-drag but not too far to go for some authenticity either. Parking was off-street and safe. The hotel was quiet and clean and reasonably priced (esp. with AAA discount.) We wouldn't want to stay there for an entire vacation, but then again, we wouldn't want to stay in Ensenada for... more

BEWARE "THE OLD SWITCHEROO!" We reserved a couple rooms for Sept, which is 4 months from now, for couple nights at $384 as quoted on the internet. Prepayment was required of course. We were charged by credit card in advance- but when we checked back to confirm, we were informed the price had doubled to $770. Apparantly they FORGOT it... more

We were quoted a price 3 times ($300 US) the normal and when we walked out, they dropped it 2/3 to $100 US. Still not worth it. Dirty carpet and paperthin walls. The rooms were musty and appeared to have been used by thousands of drunk college kids. There were stains everywhere, ughhhhhh! The only refreshing thing was the bar.... more

for an average hotel/motel this place is great-- stayed for 2 nights on my first trip to mexico and was pleasantly surprised (especially after all the bad reviews) i don't understand why people hated it so much. the room was clean, the shower worked fine, and the staff was friendly. the parking situation was weird, but we never had to... more

The location is in the center of the tourist zone and a easy walk to shopping, bars, restaurants and the bay front. The familiar Days Inn name, AAA sign, great location and resonable rate might tempt you to check in. Actually the construction is cheap, the paper thin walls make for a loud room if your neighbors are in party... more

Just spent two nights at this hotel with my two sons. Tried to book more "upscale" hotel, based on reviews here, but glad I could not find a room. Our room at Villa fontana was very clean, staff was very helpful, hotel located in center of town and had off street parking ( important). Air conditioning worked fine, but was... more
