We stayed for 10 days in Sukasa's quaint new yurt -- it was such a great experience! The tent is a 14' round canvas structure, but the amenities won't make you feel like you are in a tent. There is a full bath, queen-size bed, table and chairs, TV, mini-fridge, coffeemaker, plates and utensils...It is hard to imagine all that... more

I just returned from a 10 day stay at Sukasa Bungalows in beautiful Loreto, Baja California, Mexico. A small and at the same time a very personal facility. The owners; Joyce and Beth, treated me and the other guest like we were all long lost friends. I have never felt so at home, while being away from home, like I... more

I stayed in the Casita here for 11 days. While there is a lot of noise from the malecon on weekend nights, I could not hear it from the casita. The location on the very back of the property makes it quiet and private. The grounds and palapas are great for visiting with others and provide views of the Sea... more

It's sunny and 70 degrees in Loreto. We are back for our second stay at Su Casa Bungalows. It is a beautiful spot to unwind and relax, and work our way thru a stack of books. I am at the kitchen table in the front bungalow watching the pelicans and blue footed boobies dive for fish in the blue, blue... more

The facilities and owners are lovely. But the noise from the Malecon and newly opened disco near by are unbearable. We stayed for one night before heading back up North. My parents were supposed to stay for another night, but couldn't bear another night of the noise. It is like being in the middle of a rock concert! It is... more

We had been to Loreto this November and I must say, this was one of the best places I have ever stayed. Joyce helped us plan our stay and the hospitality of the whole staff was par excellence. The bungalows are spacious and comfy and the view from the bungalows are breath taking. You can prepare meals in the bungalows... more

Great place to stay!! Thanks to Joyce and Beth for a great time!! SuKasa, located on the malecon (Boardwalk) with a beautiful view of the bay. However, if you are noise sensitive bring ear plugs or headphones and stay in the back bungalow. Within a 4 min walk of downtown/mission area. Five min walk from the marina. A great place... more

We had just finished a kayaking tour, and were without a room when we were recommended Sukasa by a friend. We ended up in the room facing the sea and Malecon (boardwalk). We had stayed one night in CoCo Cabanas before, and were very impressed by the cosiness of Sukasa, which operates on the same principle but with much more... more

We enjoyed our third visit to SuKasa in June 2005, previous stays in Nov. 2004 and April 2005. Loreto fishing was great, my wife went kayaking, and we hiked the back country as well as genaral touring. Joyce is a wonderful, helpfull, hostess. We will be back!! How can you beat that location?? We spent four nights at SuKasa. Accomodations were super, service efficient and congenial. Sunrises over the Malecon were inspirational from our front window. Very relaxing and Joyce was an outstanding hostess. Very highly recommended. more
