We spent two nights in Loreto last April and one in Coco Cabanas; best place! The owner help us to find an alternative for first night (We hadn't booked unfortunately and Coco was full!) very courteous!!! Don'lose the opportunity to get a massage directly in cabana: great, professional and cheap! The cabana was perfect: clean and conforteable. Best place to... more

It's hard to describe a special place like the Coco Cabanas, because of its unique feeling of home and a tropical oasis all rolled into one. Our host Steve had the gift of making guests feel like family and the cabanas are immaculate and well equipped. Steve gladly arranged whale watching and fishing trips for us, which were both incredible... more

My husband and I just got home from a lovely 4 day stay at the Coco. When I first followed the signs and it said to turn down this dirt road I was a bit worried. As soon as I saw the nice cabanas and pool my fears were put to rest. This was sort of a last minute trip... more

The Coco Cabanas is conveniently located for a walk to downtown restaurants or a nighttime stroll by the sea. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The owners (Stephen and Barrett) are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Whether you will be fishing, diving, seeing the sights or just soaking up the sun by the pool, I can't think of any reason to... more

What a gem of a spot! We only had a week so we really appreciated our host, Stephen, clueing us in on the best restaurants, shops, tortillarias, grocers, etc. He never steered us wrong and provided us with a map of Loreto showing all his suggestions--all within walking distance of Coco Cabanas. He also arranged transportation and reservations for us... more

Our first time in Loreto and we arrived at Coco Cabanas to be promptly greeted by co-owner Stephen. It was the beginning of the best vacation we have had. The facility was immaculate, the staff friendly and responsive. We were given advice on what trips were available, but nothing was pushed on us. If we wanted to go on a... more

We had never visited Mexico before and weren't quite sure what to expect so it was great to stay in such a lovely venue. Stephen made us feel very welcome and shared his local knowledge of the small town. My husband was diving for four days of our stay so I was keen to go on a couple of day... more

Barrett was a very affable and helpful host. When we were unable to book a second night's stay because he had no vacancies, he drove us to another establishment with our luggage and helped us secure a booking there. more

One more week in paradise at my favorite place to stay in all of Mexico. I was solo this trip as my wife had to stay home... While the weather was a little cooler (60's and 70's) this week, the pool was wonderfully warm (87 / 88). I've expressed my happiness and satisfaction with Coco Cabanas and the Scalapino family... more
