My husband and I went with 8 of our best friends. It was one of the greatest trips yet! Perfect for a small group, beautiful setting, wonderful combination of modern amenities and layed back small town Mexico. We grilled the fish we caught, ate wonderful fruit from the man with the fruit cart, rode the bikes to the market, visited... more

This is a great place to stay in Loreto. The cabanas are comfortable and have coffee, hair dryer, tea, plates, silverware etc. filtered water etc.. some of the things we had to buy when we stayed in Cabo. They also have beach umbrellas, snorkle gear, beach mats, lots of videos for those cool evenings. The owners help with everything. It's... more

Las Cabanas is like being at home with your family, with none of the work. The hosts share their games, bikes, scuba gear, and other toys making it easy to enjoy all the outdoor activities in Loreto. The hotel has a pool with comfortable lounges for sunning and reading, as well as a great hot tub to enjoy after a... more

I stayed with Rick and Jill at Las Cabanas for a week (though some of the time I was in the mountains on mule-back!). There are no two people better suited to run a wonderful place. Not only is Las Cabanas beautifully decorated with lovely desert landscaping around the pool, the lovely tile work through out the rooms and a... more

This was by far the most pleasant place I have stayed in Baja! This was my first trip to Loreto, and I really enjoyed it. I selected Las Cabanas de Loreto from reviews and photos, and although the online photos are nice, they really don't do justice to the property. The pool is beautiful, there are lots of comfortable chairs... more

Very clean and nice rooms. Great location from down town and beach so you dont need a car unless you want to travel outside of Loreto. The place has everything you need from bikes, kayakes and outdoor kitchen. Downers hot tub never worked and would have been nice since we were their in december. Owners were out of town and... more

We thought this was the best place to stay in Loreto based on everything we saw. It is charming, very clean, safe, and within walking distance of everything you need. Just walking through the gate you feel like you are in a little piece of paradise. We have always stayed in large resorts and found this to be a very... more

Las Cabanas is the perfect home base for a happy and stress-free Mexico vacation. We stayed for a week and, after looking at all the other choices, we're convinced that it's the best place to stay in Loreto. The location is perfect if you want to stay in town and avoid the insularity of the resorts to the south, yet... more

I have stayed here twice now and I just love it! Jill and Rick are phenomenal hosts, Rick's photography is amazing, the location is perfect because you can walk everywhere in town, all of the comforts have been provided. Jill and Rick will help make arrangements for going out on the water, eating out, anything you need. Love it, love... more

We have stayed at Las Cabanas three times in the last year and it and Loreto are rapidly becoming our home away from home. This is due to the wonderful hospitality given by Rick, Jill, and Linda and the top notch accomodations, attention to detail, great pool and landscaping, and numerous other amenities such as kayaks, bikes, snorkeling and picnic... more
