Boca Chica is a great place to stay! My husband and I stayed there for a week and were sorry to leave when we finally did. The hotel is located on the western part of Acapulco. It is bordered by a beach and a cove and is directly across from Isla de La Roquesa. Easy access to zocalo by multiple,... more

This is a small, family run hotel in a more private part of Acapulco. We stayed in the honeymoon suite on the 3rd floor, which had amazing views. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and there is a beautiful pool on one side of the beachfront property, and private access to ocean swimming on the other side, with a... more

I am a business traveler, so I know what is, and is not, a good value. I work for a major airlines and traveling is a good part of my job. When I go on vacation, I want to be treated like I am important (you know, like you are a valued customer). The staff at Boco Chica made me... more

When I arrived I was looking for a relaxing get away. What I found was a place to do just that! The views were breath-taking, the pool and the ocean were fabulous and the food was divine. The hotel room was old fashioned yet very comfortable. For such a nice place it is very affordable. I would definitely visit again! more

Well, to be a 'family-run hotel', seems to me that the family definitely doesn’t want to stay on the hotel business for the long haul. There's the myth that in order for you to experience the real "Acapulco", you got to get out of the tourist area and go to the old 'barrio', namely where Boca Chica is located. This... more

We made a " SUITE" reservation to arrive late on Friday. We got to the hotel tired up and a very imcompetent person greet us and said that our room was ready. We went up to the room he tried to open the door and it was locked from the inside, in few words it means they gave up my... more

My wife and I just came back from ACA where we stayed at the Boca Chica hotel. We were very satisfied! The pool area was very nice and relaxing as were the other lounge areas. No mobs of drunken college kids! Bar service at the pool was lacking until I started droping some nice tips, then the staff couldn't do... more

This hotel inspires peace among natural beauty, and it has delicious food! The views from the rooms, the restaurant, pratically any place in the hotel are gorgeous! There's a lush green island, palm trees everywhere, and clear bluish/green ocean waters (that are warm & tranquil, perfect for all water activities!). Although the restaurant service can be slow at times (who's... more
