This is a gem of a hotel in a beautiful location. We decided to get a club room which includes breakfast and happy hour each day, additional amentities in the room and a superior view of the Puerto Marques - it was well worth it. The service we received here was excellent across the board. The hotel was fairly crowded... more

I had a great stay at the Camino Real. I had a very nice suite (520) with a pleasant view of Puerto Marques, this is not the zillion dollar view you get at Las Brisas but it is nice and close to the water and very quiet. The hotel has a private, sandy swimming beach, which is a rarity, and... more

We stayed at the camino real for 5 days during our honeymoon. Our room was big & clean with a nice view. The staff were very friendly and most could speak english. The pools (4 of them i think) were very beautiful with amazing water views. There is also a small beach exclusive to the resort. The only real problem... more

We arrived at this hotel the 26th of December. Checking in was quick and easy, almost all the staff speak a reasonable amount of english. We had 3 rooms, 1 was supposed to be a King the other 2 were supposed to be double bed rooms. We ended up with 2 king rooms and one Double. They staff quickly resolved... more

Contrary to usual Camino Real standards, this stay was pathetic. Suffice to say, the first room we got didn't have a working telephone line and the a/c didn´t work. After complaining we were assigned to the Presidential Suite (they told me it was the only room available). Thinking this was more than adequate redress, the following things happened: - We... more

Likes: Very pretty hotel with extremely nice landscaping. 3 good size pools, one is for "kiddies". Nice big rooms with balcony large enough for table, 2 chairs, and a reclining chair. Beach area was perfect because it was only accessable to Camino guest and water was calm. Room service prices were resonable and food was very good. Most employees spoke... more

The hotel was OK it was nice, Rich, Very comfortable but the traveling up and down that was the worst part of out trip. Once you are in the hotel you cannot go out to the road accept you take their taxi service which cost 5 bucks JUST TO GET OUT OF THE HOTEL!!! Can you believe that? How about... more

I went with 25 or so coworkers on a trip paid for by the company I worked for at the time. This hotel was awesome! There was an occaional strange monkey, bird, bug or lizard, but it was clean and fun. The food was great there, too. I never left the hotel for 4 days and found plenty to do.... more

I recently stayed at Camino Real and though secluded from town, the hotel itself is nice. The rooms need some upgrading. The staff is friendly and very attentive. The breakfast buffet was not that good. It was about $40 USD for 2 people so the price was about right. The hotel food in general was expensive & the selection was... more

We stayed here for two nights prior to departing on a cruise. Once we went downtown we were so glad we weren't staying there, but out on the smaller bay in Diamante. This place is a real oasis. Security is top notch at the entrance and the drive down to the property is very dramatic. This is real luxury enjoyed... more
