nothing works, the lifts are dangerous, the A/C does not work, the rooms are third world and the food is not for the faint hearted. I stayed one night and moved out immediately. I did complain to the manager who told me to put everything in writing so he could argue he's case with the owners. it seems the managet... more

Stayed there just one day. They offer you a free night/dinner in exchange to hear a one-hour (really about two hours) promotion of a Vacation World sharetime vacation plan. Sounded good, but after hearing all the promotional and don't planning to buy, even when the rest of the staff were nice, the final vendor, some girl named Alicia acted very... more

My husband and I decided to go to Acapulco for a break. I booked the hotel online and from the description it sounded very nice. But when we got there we realised that it was not at all what we had thought. Only for the location (right on the beach) it would be a 2 star hotel. The lifts were... more

My husband and I went to this hotel with another couple. This was the first time ever I encountered a massive amount of cockroaches. I am well aware that they exist in these countries. They gathered under our bed , the hotel fumigated our room twice but to no avail they wouldnt leave. Our friends room was also festered. One... more

A few summers ago, I visited Acapulco with a school group. We stayed in the El Presidente and I had a pleasant experience. The air conditioner worked great in our room, the pool was nice and clean, and the view was excellent. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone. I guess when you are curteous and show respect, the... more

We have been going to Acapulco for 15 years. In fact we own time share in Acapulco. We love the weather and the convenience of the beach and the city all rolled into one. But this hotel was the worst by far. We were put into El Presidente due to legal battles with the time share we own. The Presidente... more

I was going to stay at my Neices home in Acapulco, but unfortunately the plumbers did not have it ready so I decided to stay at the El Presidente Hotel in Acapulco. This was a bad mistake. The Air Conditioning in the room was not working properly and made a terrible noise. So bad that it was hard for me... more

This was by far the worst hotel I've ever seen. This was supposed to be a 5 star hotel. In fact after seeing the room we decided to pay the first night but go next door to the Fiesta Inn. The bedpread was stained, there were no towels or toilet paper, the bed sunk inward. EVERYTHING about this place was... more

Stayed at the Presidente Hotel in Acapulco on 07-15 to 08-01. Arrived with a group of friends (16 people) and found check in to be pretty hassel free. Rooms were not what I expected as the hotel is advertised as a 4 star and I've stayed in some Holiday Inn's with better rooms. The a/c did not work and the... more
