The best feature of this hotel is the ocean views from almost all the rooms and it's close enough to hear the waves too. Be advised some of the lower floors may have views blocked by trees. Also, the floors are numbered starting at 10 going to 22. The lobby is on the 18th floor, our room was #1721. July... more

Very nice clean hotel. Not handicapped friendly. Stairs everywhere. (Down 2 flighrs to the only breakfast lication.) I was overwelmed by the "automatic extra charges". like Maid service, bellboys, There were 2 charges for food service that I did not approve, but had to pay. The last meal we has was a excellent buffet. Good was great. However, we both... more

This is a nice property and we enjoyed our week here. We stayed on 20th floor as part of the Brisas Beach Club package. The rooms are beautiful, large, well appointed and extremely clean. The best feature are the large terraces overlooking the Pacific Ocean. These terraces are extremely private and a great place to watch the sunset. The network... more

We stayed at Las Brisas four nights (June 23 - 27) for our honeymoon. Most of what I have to say has already been said and then some (gorgeous views, great service, quiet, etc) but I have a few things, mostly reactions to what other travelers have said. 1. I think the food was priced very reasonably -- ex. $10... more

My wife and I have been to Mexico many times, but never to Ixtapa. The Las Brisas hotel is located between Ixtapa and Zihuatenejo and has it's own private beach. The hotel is built into the side of the hill, shaped like a wedge down to the beach level. The lobby is on the 18th floor with the rooms and... more

We stayed at the Las Brisas Ixtapa 7-14 June 2008. The hotel was bright, clean and well maintained. The rooms were ample with a large balcony complete with a hammock. The rooms contained a safe with pay mini bar and pay coffee maker. You receive two free, small bottles of water but only on the first day. The maid service... more

This hotel is amazing! I disagree about the price of food being overly expensive. Compared to several other resorts/hotels my husband and I have visited, the food was very reasonably priced. We were there for 5 days and ate all but 2 meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) there. We ate very, very well at Las Brisias for $400 for 5... more

Everything the other reviewers says is true, actually. The good (views, terrace, incredible staff) and the bad (there is no excuse for the restaurant pricing). I stayed in a club level room, so a nice breakfast and evening drinks/apps were available daily. It's a nice place to meet others as well. I met folks who have been coming to the... more

This was our visit to Mexico. Our travel agent recommended this hotel as we were desparately seeking relaxation - no stress! Las Brisas definitely delivered. We spent most days relaxing on the beach enjoying great service along with tasty food. Pricing was high - but not intolerable. Pricing at the restaurants in the hotel was very high as others have... more

i booked this hotel on priceline which means i was looking for a deal. the hotel s restaurant prices were exhorbitant! you need to wear a shirt at the pool restaurant too! we arrived, three couples, on motorcyles which our husbands parked in the shade and not in the way. we were immediately told to move them aside in the... more
