Casa Alegria is a slice of heaven in a busy town. I highly recommend it for those who want luxury accommodations at a non-luxury price. Well located and appointed, Casa Alegria offered comfort, hospitality and Mexican friendliness. A+ more

I can’t imagine why there is a negative review of Casa Alegria in Cuernavaca, our recent time there was more than we could have imagined. My family reserved two rooms at Casa Alegria for 4 nights in March and from the moment of contact our impression was very favorable. Lety and her husband are warm and friendly hosts, and made... more
We saw their rating back in Aug it was #1 on tripadvisor so we booked directly through their website. There were 5 of us so we got all 3 rooms. We got there in the evening, it seemed nice and the people that live there seemed nice as well, but that was soon to channge. The first morning breakfast was... more
Frankly, we chose to stay at this B&B based upon reviews from this site and were terribly disappointed! The room was dingy and smelled musty. The room was on the street/alley and a garbage truck rolls down the street every other day at 7:00 a.m. The truck is loud and rings a bell every few minutes. There was no A/C,... more
Casa Alegria was wonderful. I attended an Immersion school while in Cuernavaca and it was so nice to return and swim. The owners are fabulous, knowledgable of local attractions, and helpful. It is clean, comfortable, and elegant. Staying there made my trip enjoyable. more
We just returned from a three-night stay at Casa Alegria. The room was clean, spacious, and charming. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. When we arrived, my wife was sick, and the propietor arranged an immediate doctor visit for her (who paid a house call--she never had to get out of bed!). Highly recommended. more
Just returned from another stay at Casa Alegria in Cuernavaca and I continue to rave about this small bed and breakfast. Our room with private bathroom (one of three rental rooms in the home) was quiet, comfortable and well appointed. I looked forward to our breakfast with the owners and other guests each morning, and a dip in the heated... more

Our rooms were large very comfortable, with beautifully tiled bathrooms. The common areas were filled with beautiful artwork. The brick domed ceilings in each room... more
