This is the best hotel ever. The decoration is very nice, and the staff is almost always very helpful. As we had the hotel entirely at our disposition (we were the only guests), the service was really good. We also used the van service to downtown every day, most on demand rather than on schedule. The price for 5 days... more

My husband, daughter and I just returned from a fabulous stay in San Miguel. We were so pleased that we stayed here, as it was removed just enough to provide a spectacular hillside view, while close enough to be a quick shuttle ride into town. The hotel is decorated in an understated, colonial style which reflects Mexico's wealth of natural... more

picture yourself in a hotel above the city of San Miguel where from the views you can pretend to be in Florence where all you hear at night is silence, where the air is pure oxygen and where you are spoiled with down comforters, enormous rooms and a very helpful staff. My husband and i were only going to stay... more

My girlfriend and I love to look for not-so-visited spots to stay at and have a nice time. We stayed there mid June for two nights. The location is very good since you can view the valley and the town from most parts of the hotel. The rooms are nice and clean, ours was pretty big considering it was a... more

I am giving this hotel a five "dot" review not because it is a luxury hotel but because it is a good value for the price. We were there over Easter Week which is San Miguel's highest season. All the hotels jack up their rates; this hotel rather inexplicably gave me a 20% discount for our 4-night stay. We paid... more

Our driver ,climbing the cobblestone streets, turned onto what seemed and unappealing street, then, to our surpise, turned right into a gem of a hotel, the Vistareal. It sits on top of the hill, with an exciting view of the valley below, with manacured lawns and lush foliage embracing the rooms. They graciously gave us the large suite, well appointed,... more

Our family of five spent a full week in San Miguel de Allende. With three younger children, our web research and email efforts led us to the Vista Real Hotel, a quaint small hotel(20+- rooms) overlooking the historic district. Their price was very reasonable and service was very accomodating. We had every breakfast and several dinners at their La Vista... more
