We stayed one night here in August in two standard rooms. The rooms were pretty basic: wooden beds, a narrow wooden desk with a TV on top, and a couple of chairs; both rooms looked over internal courtyards. It is situated very close to the main square and many shops and restaurants. We tried to eat at the hotel on the first night but after hanging around the restaurant for a few minutes with no one else in sight we ate at and can recommend La Paloma restaurant on Hidalgo. We stayed 2 nights at this beatifully renovated colonial house, with helpful, although not necessarily English speaking staff. Rooms are fairly spacious and nicely decorated.
