This is an up-scale place with good views, purified water on tap, and rooms that could benefit from refurbishment. We were pretty happy with the place until we checked out and had to correct a lot of errors on our bill--such as charges for breakfasts that were included in our rate. more

We stayed during carnavale 2004. The hotel is truely a grand Mexican Hotel. If you are looking for a US style hotel, this may not be your place(but, then why would you go to Mexico?). You enter into this lovely lobby, though the personnel did not speak English, they were soooo accommodating! The bellman was so gratious, opened the drapes, turn the light on, place luggage on the rack, gave a personal card, told us times restaurants would close, asked us if we needed a guide.
