Before traveling to Cancun, I read other reviews on this hotel with a bit of skecpticism; however, after having been there, my advice is "Believe It." We had three rooms, three baths, and a kitchenette. The AC was too cold in one room (controls didn't work) and not cold enough in another room. One shower had only cold water. Only... more

the price is very economical when compared to other hotels in the area. Obviously the clipper club is a little older and it isn't near as fancy or as appealing when compared to some of the other hotels in the area. It is a condo/apt type hotel. but you have to look at it for what it is. The pool... more

The food was good, location great and that is where my positive remarks end. We stayed there for 5 days and had to be moved twice due to non-working ac and an ant infestation. There was mold growing in the bathroom and in the ceiling of the room. After we were given a room with working ac we realized that... more

The location of this hotel is great! Its quiet peaceful. It has a very nice pool and the rooms are ok. Please beware the sofa beds aren't what we consider a sofa bed (the fold out type)...they are a matress on raised cement...not very comfy. My boyfriend and I brought (because of what we read on TripAdvisor) with us an... more

Location! Location! Location! For spring breakers is great!! Price is great, not expensive at all. You can walk everywhere from there Cocobongo, TGIFriday, Starbucks, etc... its right around the corner. I suggest you go there if you don't have any money but want to have the spring break Cancun experience. (Also you can get a day pass for like $20... more

This hotel is staffed by very kind and helpful people and the restaurant on the grounds is very good for hotel food. The hotel is safe and clean and the grounds are maintained quite well. The rooms are old. I had a two bedroom suite. There were many problems with the rooms - showers not working properly, sewage smell coming... more

Great location in the party area on the hotel strip. Room was good. Keeping supplied with towels was a project; on the regular room cleaner's day off, NOTHING was done. Otherwise, it was great! The restaurant there was great! Personnel overall were VERY friendly and eager to help. Will stay there again. more

We are in our mid 30's and went to Mexico to see what there was to offer. We were looking for a hotel as a place to stay during the nights, not really to hang out by all day. This hotel worked for that purpose. It is situated on the lagoon and sits back away from the busy street. Upon arrival,... more

My husband and I exchanged our timeshare (2 bedroom lock off) to a 1 bedroom (6- maximum occupancy / 4 private) in Melia Vacation Club at Gran Melia Cancun and 1 bedroom (6 max occupancy/4 private) in Best Western Clipper Club. My family and I stayed at Best Western Clipper Club from May 19th through May 26th with four adults.... more

The rooms are standard. Nothing special. The location was excellent. If you want somewhere cheap and comfortable to use as a base then this is the hotel for you. If your after more luxury and want to spend your whole holiday within a hotel then look elsewhere. more
