The only good thing about this place is the beach. If you read enough reviews you will notice lots of people telling the same review of having money stolen here. This was my first trip to Cancun. I booked a standard room at Ambiance and got an upgrade for a studio =) Room was clean, towels and all toiletries available. The wife and i had a Superb time at the Ambiance. The staff there was great! The breakfast was outstanding and part of the room price! Dear all ... ...this is a great and fantastic hotel. i stayed in the suite booked directly via teh hotel website - much cheaper then anywhere else. the suite was very very spacious and very clean. ...the hotel itself feels like a nice cosy size, beign towered besides 2 buildings on either side. great for intimacy and comfort and safety.... more

About what you would expected for the price (which is very good for cancun). Hotel is a little older than expected but still clean and maintained. Rooms are nice if you want to have a condo setting instead of a traditional hotel room. Reviews of beach are accurate. Very wide and well maintained. Never had to fight for chairs. The Ambiance is a very beautiful hotel. The beach is the best that I saw along the strip, no rocks, the sand is pretty and even, not a great deal of seaweed.
