I was in cancun with my son , and we shopped around and stayed in several hotels. We loved Terra Caribe. The room was very clean as was the entire hotel. The staff were very polite and informed. i would recommend this hotel to anyone. The location is great if you know the area , it offers real Mexican attitude... more

My sister and I stayed two nights at the Terracaribe, and we thought it was terrific value. Upside: really friendly staff, very comfortable beds, spotlessly clean, good shower, decent linen. Fabulous chicken soup in the restaurant inside the hotel! Lots more than we expected for the price. Downside: surroundings are a bit grim, but when you are inside the hotel... more

I booked a 5 star time share at the Royal Sands in the hotel zone, but booked a flight which arrived a day early (long story), so I needed a place to stay for one night and didn't want to spend a fortune just for a place to crash for an evening (my flight arrived late). I called Terracaribe direct,... more

This hotel was a very terrible place. We booked it through thotels.com and it was nothing liked they showed online. The room looked so differernt. In the double room we booked, there were cables and wires for the electricity and the cable hanging from the ceiling to the device- it was very tacky. Their laundromat was facing a major road... more

I took my son(14Years old) on a trip through the Yucatan Peninsula and to Palenque. We started the trip in Cancun but I couldn't fathom staying in the hotel zone. I chose this place only because of the cheap price. However, my son and I felt so welcomed we stayed 2 nights and one more at the end of the... more

The Terracaribe Hotel was a magnificant find in the Cancun area. I wanted something cheap, but still clean and safe. The Terracaribe delivered on both, but also offered a pool, hot tub, bar area, TV, and restaurant. They have bus service to the Cancun Beach area, which is about 5km away from the hotel. I paid $55/night for a King... more

The TerraCaribe is clean, reasonably priced, and off the gnarly strip of Vegas-style hotels - it feels like you're in Mexico, not Disneyland. It is in an easy, central location, and if you venture down nearby Avenida Tulum, all the little side streets have cafes and restaurants. The staff was really friendly and helpful, and the room was spotless. A... more

We had an early flight in Cancun thus booked this place for one night. It was perfect for this very stay. The hotel is located within a short driving distance of the Cancun hotel strip. The staff was friendly and welcoming. There was security on the premises, good parking, and clean rooms. The aiport is about 25 minutes (by car).... more

My husband and I stayed in the Hotel Terracaribe for one night on Jan 2nd. We were looking for a reasonably priced place to stay before starting a 2-week driving tour through the Yucatan and my expectations for the hotel were not particularly high. The Terracaribe was such an unexpected pleasure!! The hotel is spotless and has a surprising touch... more

I stayed overnight on Nov. 3/07. The hotel is an oasis in what appears to be a poor neighbourhood. The staff, especially the manager, Alfonso were very helpful with directions on how to get around Cancun. The room had a queen sized bed, television, desk and chair and of course separate bathroom. Everything was immaculately clean and they gave me... more
