I split my two week vacation in Cozumel between a waterfront hotel (see my review on the Coral Princess) and Alicia's Bed and Breakfast, 65th and 19th. I moved to Alicia's when my non-diving friend departed for home, and even though I enjoyed staying on the water, moving to Alicia's is like staying with friends. The B&B consists of a... more

We had been to Alicia's a few times before...but this was the first time with our whole family...me, my wife, our 4 yr. old twin boys and 2 yr old daughter and my mother-in-law. We love Cozumel and the the hospitality and comfort you get with Alicia and Chuco are unheard of for such a great place and well-kept secret.... more

My wife and I enjoyed a short vacation in Cozumel recently, and during our stay we made "Alicia's Bed and Breakfast" our home away from home. We discovered Alicia's through Trip Advisor; and although the B & B is not close to the ocean, we decided to give it a try. Our contacts with Alicia via email were answered promptly... more

Went to Cozumel on my own for a 5 day dive trip back in 2004 just after getting certified and stayed with her on recommendation of Alison w/ Scuba with Alison. Excellent recommendation. I had a great time and Alicia was a wonderful hostess! She looked after me like a mother hen from the start. She took me to the... more

My friend and I just returned from Cozumel, staying 4 nights at Alicia's. On the postive side, the rooms were clean, the breakfasts good, had cheap calling to the US ($1 per call) and Alicia and Chuco are friendly. The only negative was there was no hot water in the shower, and a cold shower after a day of scuba... more

Located in the Southeast corner of San Miguel,Cozumel. This B&B is like staying with friends or even family.Having good local advice and a house dog to scratch is worth loads in stress reduction.Clean rooms and bountiful breakfasts off of the touristy side of town.Yet 2-3 dollars will get a taxi to the main Plaza at any time.Call Alicia and tell her... more

Four years ago we stayed at Alicia's and enjoyed it very much. I was curious if we would still like it. Well, we liked it more than ever. Alicia and Chuco took great care of us. They treated us like family even though four years had passed. Dollar for dollar, Alicia's is the best value on the island, that's for... more

We stayed at Alicia's for 7 days on our first trip to Cozumel, and would definitely go there again. When we stayed there, only one dog was in residence, and we just loved her. Alicia told us that she was always comfortable with anyone Chevita liked, and wary of anyone she did not like. The rooms were comfortable, spotless, and... more

Unless you could move this wonderful home and its owners to an oceanfront location with snorkling, we would not change a thing! To fully enjoy the island you need to rent a car or use taxi's anyways, so even the location is not an issue. We completely enjoyed Alicia's Bed and Breakfast during our 5 day stay there. Rooms are... more

This was our 3rd trip to Mexico - our first to Cozumel. We decided to be "daring" this time and not stay at one of the all-inclusives for our entire stay. Of course, we had a back-up plan just in case things didn't work our, but afterwards we were wishing that we had been even more daring and had reserved... more
