This is one of my favorite places that I have ever stayed. The rooms are more like individual villas that share a beautiful garden/courtyard where people get together to share stories and ideas for restaurants and things to do. The best thing about this hotel is the hosts, Pedro and Eyal. They make you feel like you have come to... more

We just returned from our 6th annual stay at VLA and it just keeps improving: wireless internet, lush garden area, dive gear drying area, fresh chocolates each morning, furnished toiletry amenities, etc., etc. And, of course, the things that have always made this hotel special: very convenient downtown location, congenial live-in owners Pedro and Eyal, transportation to Blue Angel Diving,... more

Pedro and his staff are absolutely wonderful and these suites are clean and unique. We were unsure when we first pulled up to the hotel in the dark but it only took us a walk through the front gate and into our suite to fall in love with this place. We felt so "at home", safe and treated well here... more

These charming villas are centrally located just outside of the main tourist district by 2 blocks. From here it is easy to throw yourself into the tourist fray or avoid it completely. Our villa quickly became our home away from home while in Cozumel for an 8 day diving trip. Las Anclas is a 7 villa complex arranged around a... more

This hotel has earned its #1 position on Trip Advisor. We arrived and Eyal greeted us warmly. After he checked our room to be sure all was well, we asked some questions about local restaurants. I showed him the folder I had created from all the tips provided here as well as links from other sites. Eyal took the time... more

We looked up reviews on tripadvisor and this was one of the top ranked. The price was reasonable, and we did not expect 5 star accomodations. The rooms were clean, but a bit aged and our room was a bit musty. The kitchen left a bit to be desired as the appliances (sink, fridge, and microwave) were a bit old... more

Me and my fiance stayed at Las Anclas for the last 4 days of our trip to Cozumel. The garden area was very nice and the view from our living room window was nice. Pedro and Eyal were very friendly and gave us good advise while we were there. During our stay huricane felix formed and headed for Mexico. Pedro... more

I am not sure there is too much to add to the prior reviews... Villa Las Anclas is a great choice in Cozumel. We (our family of four) did it as part of a vacation to get certified (and used Blue Angel Dive Shop, with whom they are associated: another very good choice). Pedro was able to set it up... more

We stayed for the second time at VLA for a week in May. We had two couples in two rooms. We returned with our friends, based on the fine visit we had two years previously. The Villas are the place to stay in Coz if you want a close in but private place with clean, air conditioned rooms. It's so... more

My boyfriend and I visit Cozumel frequently. On our last visit while walking through town, we stumbled across this beautiful place and stopped in. There we met Eyal and Pedro. They were so friendly and showed us around, and we loved it. When we decided to visit Cozumel again, there was no thinking about it, we knew we wanted to... more
