My family of 4 stayed 1 week at Suites Colonial in Cozumel Feb '06. Not a "luxury" hotel by any measure, but Perfect for us! Meticulously clean; the housemaids wash the red tile floors and change the sheets daily (make sure to tip them, I understand they don't get paid squat). Beds very comfortable. What a deal. The hotel is right off the square and a great breakfast place close by (Coco's). Tile floors, balconies a jug of drinking water in the fridge and an electric stove. May not be oppulent but great value and clean. more
