My wife and I just spent our 4 day honeymoon at the Coral Reef Inn and had a wonderful time. The Inn has beautiful rooms, with good a/c and nice bathrooms. The owners, Jerry and Leona are very nice and provided some great recommendations on local food. The inn is about 10-15 minute walk from the center of Cozumel and... more

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at the Coral Reef Inn in May. The hosts were great and offered perfect recommendations from restaurants to snorkeling trips. The room was the best we stayed in during our 10 day trip to Mexico. The location is convenient - close enough to walk into town and right down the street from a grocery... more

It being our first time out of the country my husband and I were very nervous. But the place was just as discribed! Very clean, very quiet and the roof was a very nice place to sit and look at the stars. Jerry was very nice and helped us when we had a problem with our bank. Its walking distance... more

The Coral Reef Inn was an excellent choice for a place to stay on Cozumel. All attributes were excellent. The kitchen on the roof was our favorite part of the place, and made an excellent place to relax, hang out and be sociable. If we should return to Cozumel, we will definitely return to the Coral Reef Inn. John &... more

After staying at the Coral Reef Inn for a week in March of 2008, I can tell you why there are so many positive reviews of this place. It’s because they’re all true. If you’re looking for a swim-up bar, party-type hotel, this isn’t it. No pool, no bar. If you’re looking for a comfortable, relaxing hotel in a quiet... more

After travelling around Mexico for several days and staying in the broadest range of hotels, inns and hostels, we were thrilled to spend several days at the Coral Reef Inn in Cozumel. The small inn is charming, clean, spacious and friendly. Our hosts Jerry and Leona were fabulous and treated us like long time friends, sometimes taking us to meet... more

The Coral Reef Inn is a great place to stay if you are looking for a place that is friendly, clean and comfortable. 3 things we liked - accomodations, location and diving. Accomodations are impeccably clean and I am picky. The beds are comfortable and clean. The AC is quiet and effective for the nights and not necessary in the... more

What a beautiful Inn! Our hosts were the best ever. They made me feel like I had been their friend for the last 20 years. The location was walking distance to the main shopping and restaurant areas of Cozumel and was handy to a huge grocery store if you preferred to eat in the spacious and well equipped common dining... more

We stayed there on Feb 7th and 8th, 2008. We only planned to stay one night as we had an all inclusive resort booked close to Playa Del Carmen, but we enjoyed it so much that we stayed an additional night. We were warmly greeted the minute we arrived by 2 absolutely fantastic hosts. Gerry and Leona made us feel... more

I found out about the Coral Reef Inn using Trip Advisor, and was able to book a room and diving package using the Inn's website for a last minute trip. I work for an airline, and often times travel spur of the moment. The Inn was everything that Trip Advisor said it would be, and worked out great for my... more
