We originally booked Brisas del Mar but upon arrival learned it is now Arenas del Mar and not what we expected for $150 per night - we had to carry our own luggage up the stairs and found the room didn't even a window and was dirty. Stayed here one night last June 9th after a party. The room was average and in need of a redo. The carpet was worn, the beds were very hard. The non-smoking room had an intense flowers smell probably from some spray. The bathroom was impecably clean and well stocked of towels. This is known as the best hotel in Tampico,... more
