Overall nice & picturesque setting, however you should note: 1 The resort is 85% timeshare 15% hotel. I unfortunately sat through one of their sales presentations. 2 The beach is not swimmable. It is the Pacific Ocean and the waves are rough. 3 The resort is secluded from the rest of the town, so if you want to go out... more

Asian Traveler TX is correct, the safe, swimmable beaches in Los Cabos are Chileno, Santa Maria and Medano. Guests at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica and Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach are able to take a free shuttle to our two Medano Beach properties and use all of their facilities as if they were registered guests, and swim safely at that beach. Sunset...

We were recently married at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach on May 31, 2008. It by far exceeded my expectations and my dream wedding came true. The hotel only books one wedding per day so the entire staff at the hotel are all focused on the wedding, the wedding party and the wedding guests. They had signs up the week before announcing... more

My husband and I have traveled a fair amount and have decided this is by far one of the most beautiful resorts we have ever seen. The service was wonderful and everyone was always polite. Physically the property was beautiful. Eventhough it is very hilly, they make it very convenient for people to get where they need to go without... more

My fiancé and I stayed in the resort with my parents in Feb. 2008 through a time share they have with Pueblo. I’ve never stayed at resort as nice as this one. It is now the benchmark for my honeymoon but I know it will be hard to find close in comparison. The service is unbeatable, food was AMAZING and... more

This was our first trip to anywhere in Mexico. We went for 7 days in June w/ a group of 6. All of us are 35-40. Initial impression of Resort - Gorgeous view of ocean - every room has ocean view! Great check in service. We stayed at top of resort so relied on golf cart service most of the... more

I am truly grateful for all the great comments in this review even though the inclement weather cost us two rating points. May and June are the windy months on the Pacific side of the peninsula, and on the Cabo Pulmo side it is windy during February and March. This year has been unusually windy and even cold all over...

My husband and I stayed here 2 years ago on our honeymoon. I understand the frustration with not swimming on the beach, but you must understand that those waters are extremely dangerous and if you take the time to research the property, you would know that before hand. We had an amazing stay and loved every part of Pueblo Bonito.... more

We spent June 1-8 at the resort (RCI Exchange) and was very lucky to stay in a presidential suite (2BR). We were in building 22 on the 9th floor. That is the highest building on the highest floor. Our experience at the resort was nothing but positive. After 25 years of timesharing I have to say this was the best... more

This was our first time to stay at this resort, we bought a Time Share last year while staying at the Pacifica (which we loved) and I have to say that was good money spent. My husband booked this trip for my 30th Birthday with six of our closest friends. We go to Cabo every year, so once you have... more

We stayed here, thinking that it was a good "hotel." But when I tried to fish on the beach, the only thing you can do there by the way (apart from look at the water), I (along with my petite blond wife) was chased off rudely (and aggressively) by hotel staff again and again, and told to move on past... more

Without legitimatizing the bulk of this sad Review by a first-time poster, I would like to respond that while fishing has been allowed for six years on the beach in front of the resort, our guests’ safety is paramount and we will not allow them to fish dangerously close to the crashing waves. For this same reason, safety, no one...

This resort was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was a junior suite and had a full kitchen(stove but no oven) microwave and frig. We should have bought more food to cook, we only bought breakfast food. Our huge veranda had a private hot tub. The beds had down comforters and you could call down for... more
