The Hotel de la Soledad is in a perfect location and has a lovely courtyard but overall I think we'd check around before staying there again. Our rating would be: Grounds & Location: A+ perfect location, beautiful courtyard Room: B- ours was small, nothing special Bathroom: C- our shower shared the same tile floor with the rest of the tiny... more

We stayed in this hotel and found it just beautiful and very clean. We love to stay in hotels that have the look of colonial Mexico and this fit the bill exactly. It is just a couple of blocks from the cathedral in the old central district. However, there was a major problem. The only window in our room had... more

This is a charming and historic place. I thoroughly enjoyed my short stay there. The courtyard, in particular, is a very pleasant place to sit and have a glass or two of wine. The room I stayed in, just off the main entrance and on the ground floor was a little noisy at times, but by the time I went... more

We stay for two nights at this hotel. We had a nive room and it was very dark in the night and very quiet. We didn't stay on the street. The garden is very nice with all the flowers and antique art. The breakfast was also perfect. The only thing just be sure of the price before to rent it.... more

We stayed at Hotel de la Soledad for 2 nights during September 2007. The hotel is in a colonial building with an old atmosphere which suits Morelia. The room we received was very nice and big. The rooms in the hotel vary in size so you better check first. The hotel has 2 beautiful patios, the first and the second,... more

We have booked in advance 3 rooms for 2 nights in this hotel and we also have paid the total amount in advance. When we checked in,... more

The location of this place is great. It's very near the main plaza and cathedral. It's also a historic building with a great patio, but those are the only highlights. I asked for a quiet room, and it was confirmed in my reservation e-mail. However, the room that I received was not very quiet and required the use of earplugs,... more

Hotel de la Soledad is truly an oasis in a very busy city and located within walking distance of most city attractions. We spent one night in this hotel. Our room was clean, bright, well lit, had a comfortable bed and was adequately furnished. As requested we were placed in a quiet part of the hotel (room 201). The hotel... more

Hotel de la Soledad is a very short walking distance from the Cathereral. They lived up to all the expectations you could draw from their internet site. I took my 14 year old grandson to experience the day of the dead celebration in the area. He wants to go back. We had no difficulty with the hotel or staff. I... more

We started out at the de la Solidad, a converted monistary/stable. Recommended because it was off the Centro noise. We stayed one night and couldn't get out fast enough If you like living like a monk go for it. No elevator, Small rooms, no storage nor room to open traveling bags, no heat so miserably cold (I caught one), no... more
